Clement I. Newman Clement Irvin "Clem" Newman, 64, Lake Manitou, died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn hospital where he had been a patient since Dec. 26. Fulton County Sanitation Officer for the past six years, Mr. Newman had resided here since 1953, moving from Mexico. He was born Nov. 24, 1904, in Miami county to Medford Kyle Newman and Mildred Anderson Ireland. His marriage was Oct 14, 1938, in Denver to Lucile Nash, who survives. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist church, Masonic lodge 347 at Mexico, Rochester Elks lodge and the State Sanitation Association. He was a member of the Lake Manitou association and at the time of his death was president of the organization. Surviving with his wife are one son, Samuel [Newman], Rochester; two grandchildren, Melissa and Amy [Newman], both of Rochester; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ireland, Rochester; one brother, Medford Kyle Newman, Hobart; an aunt, Mrs. Mable Smith, Mexico. His father preceded in death. Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Foster & Good funeral home. The Rev. Laurence Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Rochester. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and at the church one hour prior to services. Clement I. Newman Memorial services for Clement I. Newman, 64, Lake Manitou, will be conducted in the Foster & Good funeral home at 7:30 p.m. today by the Rochester Elks lodge. The Masonic lodge No. 347 will conduct memorial services at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Newman died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn hospital where he had been a patient since Dec. 26. Final rites will be at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Sunday
