E3 Joseph Ross Junkin, born January 19, 1842, Boggs Run, Wheeling, [West] Virginia; died December 12, 1914 in Wellsville, Ohio. Married July 4, 1870 Kathryn Grace McBean in Wellsville, Ohio. Kathryn was born on March 12, 1848 in Piclu County, Nova Scotia, and died March 15, 1912. Joseph Ross served three years in the Union army as a member of Company K, 3rd Ohio Volunteers. Residence: Wellsville, Ohio. Five children:

F1 Finley Alexander Junkin, born May 21, 1871, died June 14, 1899. Single.

F2 James Louis Junkin, born October 6, 1873, died July 27, 1935.

F3 Anna Helen Junkin, born March 21, 1876, died September 18, 1957. Married 1914 James Donald Monroe Taylor, born September 30, 1878, died July 31, 1919. No issue.

F4 Norman Ross Junkin, born March 4, 1880, died April 12, 1880.

F5 Harriet Rebecca Junkin, born April 10, 1884, died May 7, 1965.

E4 Louis James Junkin, born January 23, 1844, died in the Civil War June 26, 1864 at Rome, Georgia of chronic diarrhoea. He was a member of the 23rd Regiment, Ohio Volunteers.
