Andrew Junkin (1803-1882)

D4 Andrew Junkin, born 15 Aug 1803; died 1 October 1882, Warren County, Illinois; buried Kirkwood, Ill. cemetery. Married Sarah Smith (b 20 Dec 1817; d 2 March 1901, Warren County, Ill.) daughter of Adam Smith and Mary Calbraith. There is an unverified story that Sarah's grandfather was the Smith who befriended Joseph II after the Battle of Brandywine. The Junkins farmed between Monmouth and Kirkwood, Ill.

E2 Infant son Junkin, born 25 Dec 1849, died 5 February 1850; buried Kirkwood, Ill.

E3 Mary Elizabeth Junkin, born 25 March 1851, died 22 June 1853; buried Kirkwood, Ill.

E4 John Bratton Junkin, born 25 Dec 1853, died 24 February 1893.

E5 Infant son Junkin, born 8 March 1856, buried Kirkwood, Ill.

E6 Nancy Jane Junkin, born 21 March 1859, died 1 Sept 1907.
