Friends of Mary Ellen (Stacy) and Larry Horine will be saddened to learn of the death of their son, Dr. Sherwood Horine, age 37, in a mountain bicycle accident on July 18, 1998 in Ashville, N.C. Sherwood was an emergency medicine doctor at the hospital in Boone. He is survived by his wife, and two sons, ages 1 and 3.
