Eric attended Ohio State University, received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education 1973. Eric's claims to fame:

• Was present at the original Woodstock, August 1969.
• Was a member of the Ohio State Marching Band when the OSU football team defeated USC 27-16 to win the National Championship on January 1, 1969.
• Played trumpet in the Ohio University Symphony Orchestra from Spring 1969 - Spring 1972, under the late great Robert Gerle.
