Amelia Marie Knost, age 74, of 160 Heischman Ave., Worthington, Saturday, Sept. 11, 1982, Riverside Hospital. Survived by husband, Carl O. Knost of Worthington; son and daughter-in-law, William and Marilyn Hamilton; grandchildren, Don and Crystal Hamilton, and Brenda Hamilton; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Margaret Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Gertrude and Dewey Walp; sisters, Dorothy Ault and Faye Smith; sisters-in-law, Gertie Smith and Leatha Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law by marriage, Bill and Ethel Knost, Dick and Betty Knost and Ray and Mildred Knost. Member of Worthington United Methodist Church. Former Worthy Matron OES, Worthington Chapter No. 287.

Funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington. Dr. W. Edge Dixon officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, with Eastern Star service 8 p.m. Monday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.


Carl O. Knost, age 79, long time resident of Worthington, Sunday, April 15, 1984, Riverside Methodist Hospital. Retired contractor and former Sharon Township Trustee, 19 years. Preceded in death by wife, Amelia M. Knost. Survived by step-son and daughter-in-law, William and Marilyn Hamilton; step-grandchildren, Don and Crystal Hamilton, Brenda Hamilton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Ethel Knost, Dick and Betty Knost, Ray and Mildred Knost. Member of Worthington United Methodist Church, Lockbourne Lodge 232 F&AM, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus, Aladdin Shrine.

Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Dr. W. Edge Dixon officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Masonic service 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to charity of your choice.
