Dick was the son of Hazard Clinton Chase and Helen Andrews. He was an Eastern school of Music and University of Utah graduate.

CHASE, Richard

CHASE Richard C., beloved husband of the late Virginia L. Chase, loving father of Jennifer L. Chase, dear uncle of Barbara Chaapel and Christine Polk. Saturday, January 9, 2010, age 82 years, resident of College Hill.

Friends are welcome to attend either or both the memorial service at The Community Friends Meeting, 3960 Winding Way, North Avondale, Wednesday (TODAY) at 4 p.m. and the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clare Church, 1443 Cedar Ave., College Hill, Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

Richard was a passionate musician, was committed to social justice and was a devoted Christian. Memorials may be made to American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) or the Catholic Near East Welfare Assoc.
