Lowell H. Miller

PIQUA -- Mr. Lowell H. Miller, 74, Hemm Rod., died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dettmer Hospital, Troy. He had been a patient in the hospital for seven weeks. His parents were the late Samuel and Laura Trick Miller. He formerly sold ice and was a broom maker in Ansonia.

Mr. Miller was a native of Darke County, moving from Piqua to Ansonia four years ago. He was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include his widow, Fae Archer Miller; one daughter, Mrs. Francis (Nellie) Clark, Piqua; two sons, Herschel and William, both of Piqua; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Homer (Neva) Zecher, Dayton, and Mrs. Lewis (Bessie) Hesson, Ansonia; and one brother, Harry Miller, Orlando, Fla.

Services will be at the Ansonia Church of God at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Revs. Robert L. Butterfield and George Van Norman officiating. Burial will be in Ansonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the Jamieson Funeral Home, here, after 3 p.m. today and after 12 noon at the church on Thursday and until time of services.


Fae M. Miller

PIQUA -- Fae M. Miller, 88, of 412 S. Wayne St., died 10:55 p.m. Monday at Piqua Memorial Hospital.

Born Feb. 16, 1892 in Logan County, Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Wheeler) Archer. Her husband Lowell died in 1967.

She was a member of the First Church of God, here.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Nellie) Clark of Piqua; a son, Herschel, Port Charlotte, Fla., six grandchildrem; 12 great - grandchildren; a great -great granddaughter, and two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Marie) Vetter Sr., Piqua, and Mrs. Edna Hunt, Onsted, Mich. A son and two sisters preceded her in death.

Services are scheduled at the First Church of God, with the Rev. Hubert Bunyan officiating, Interment will follow in Ansonia Cemetery.
