Obituary of Elbert Druly

Elbert "Pop" Druly, 94, a resident of Brighton Gardens, Maitland, Fla., died Tuesday, Aug. 7, after a brief illness.

He was born Sept. 28, 1906, in Fountain City, Ind. He and his wife Pauline, lived in Eaton for 55 years before moving to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Mr. Druley moved to Maitland in 1955 and lived at Brighton Gardens.

He had been owner of Druley's Dairy in Eaton. Mr. Druley served as fire chief with the Eaton Fire Department for many years, and it will be remembered, was severely burned in a fire during his years as chief. He was a Methodist and a 72-year members of the Masonic Lodge of Ohio.

Survivors include two daughters, Dee Balliett and Linda Polonus.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services and interment will be held in Eaton at a later date.
