I4 Luther Abraham Tobias Horine, was born July 01, 1830, and died July 27, 1896. He married Susan Rebecca Sheffer October 30, 1857, daughter of Daniel Sheffer and Anna Routzahn. Luther Abraham Studied 2 years for the ministry at Wittenberg College in Ohio, but left for reasons of ill health. Managed a store in Bolivar, Maryland and farmed near Braddock.

In 1869, L. A. T. Horine acquired the "Fulderea Manor" from the Henry McDuell estate ("WMG" Vol. 15 #2). This mansion served as a hospital during the Battle of South Mountain and was located 1/2 mile north of Burkittsville, on the state road to Middletown. (Maryland 17)

    J3 Mary Magdalene Horine, born November 01, 1865; died January 21, 1873 (??). She married Thomas Lamar. Thomas lived in Hagerstown.

    J4 Luther K Horine, born 1867; died August 30, 1872 in Burkittsville, Md.

    J5 Maurice S. Horine.

    J6 Caroline May Horine, born 1873.

    J7 Ada Marguerite Horine. She married Rev. Arthur N. Bean. She and her husband acquired Fulderea Manor in 1919, but lost it through a mortgage in 1926 ("WMG" Vol 15 #2). Rev. Arthur N. Bean was a Minister in Paterson, NJ.
