II Veteran Survived by wife, Hazel Ross Preidis, of Columbus, 3 sisters, Mrs. Pauline Whitehead, Mrs. Beatrice Moody, Santa Barbara, Calif. Mrs. Betty Slane, of Columbus, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday at the MAEDER QUINT FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High St. where family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rev. Gerald Koster officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.

PREIDIS (ROSS) Hazel J. "Ross" Preidis, age 99, born June 24, 1911, passed away 9 days before her 100th birthday on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Regency Manor. Retired from Bank Ohio. Preceded in death by husband John A. Preidis, twin sisters Eva Ross, Ada (Ross) and husband Milton Heisler, brothers Robert Ross and wife Martha Jane Ross, Donald Ross and wife Iris Ross, and Glenn Ross. Survived by her special niece and her husband, Suzanne and Michael Collins; sister, Delores (Ross) Milton; and sister-in-law, Barbara (Glenn) Ross; and her precious, Chance. Thank you to Regency Manor and Odyssey Hospice for their concern, support and compassion for Hazel's care. Family will receive friends Saturday 10-11 a.m. at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High St., where service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial Green Lawn Cemetery.
