D3 Harrison H. Peppel, born January 1847 in Harrison County, Ohio, died July 30, 1906 in Ontario, San Bernardino County, California,; married December 2, 1884 in Summers, West Virginia by George W. Wesley Margaret (Maggie) Young, born November 6, 1847 in Bertha, West Virginia, died November 18, 1919 in Hinton, West Virginia, buried in Haynes Cemetery (view Death Certificate).

In the 1900 U. S. Census, Harrison was listed as a photographer, and his father, John Casper Peppel, was living with his family. Between 1900 and 1903, John Casper Peppel along his two sons James and Harrison migrated to Los Angleles, California.

Nancy A. Kern Peppel's ashes were intered 28 Aug 1935 in the grave of Harrison H. Peppel, her brother-in law. Her husband James' ashes were previously intered in this, his brother's, grave 11 July 1921. Their names do not appear on the headstone.
