Married December 20, 1838 Miami County, Ohio, John C. Hardman son of Jonathan Hardman and Sarah Cable, born November 14, 1814, Ohio. Died April 3, 1863, Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio.

After Betsy's death, John married second on May 28, 1854 in Darke County, Ohio by Brethren Elder John Harshey, Catharine Large by whom there were five children, John Calvin, Margaret L., Martin S., Rolland L. and Mary L.

G3 Sarah Hardman, born November 23, 1842, Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio, died June 1892 near Woodland, Michigan. Married August 12, 1866, Darke County, Ohio, Isaiah F. Rairigh, born May 23, 1844 Indiana County, Pennsylvania, died August 3, 1909 Woodland, Michigan.

G5 David M. Hardman, born April 24, 1846, Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio, died January 26, 1863, Murpheesboro, Tennessee. He enlisted as a private in Company I, 94th Regiment, Ohio Infantry. His body was returned to Ohio and buried in Old Harris Creek Cemetery.
