F1 Solomon Miller, born May 30, 1817, Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio, died April 6, 1901, Union Township, Delaware County, Indiana. Married February 27, 1840, Darke County, Ohio by Daniel Maurer, J.P., to (first wife) Sarah Hardman, daughter of Jonathan Hardman and Sarah Cable, born April 26, 1820, in Ohio, died June 12, 1851, Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio. He married January 23, 1852 Darke County, Ohio by Brethren Elder Joseph Risser, to (second wife) Esther "Hettie" Morgan daughter of Daniel Morgan and Susannah, born May 24, 1824, Darke County Ohio, died October 21, 1903, Union Township, Delaware County, Indiana.

From Jacob Bashore, he purchased a tract of land in section 10 of Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio on November 26, 1855 and sold the same to Joseph Miller on February 18, 1862. The family moved in the early 1870's to Union Township, Delaware County, Indiana where he purchased a 56 acre farm in section 27. He and his wives were members of the Upper Stillwater German Baptist Brethren district in Ohio and Mississinewa German Baptist Brethren district in Indiana. He was a blacksmith and farmer. History of the Mississinewa Church of the Brethren published in 1917 states there were four daughters by Sally, one son and six daughters of whom two of the daughters predeceased their parents, by Hettie. Sally is buried Old Harris Creek Cemetery, Solomon and Hettie likely in Union Cemetery near Eaton, Indiana.
