BANK CASHIER IS CLAIMED BY DEATH

P. A. Campbell Stricken At Peebles Right In Prime of Life

Peebles, Ohio.--Special Correspondence.--Peeble[s] lost one of her prominent citizens by death on last Saturday morning when P. A. Campbell passed away at his home.

Mr. Campbell was cashier at the Bank of Peebles and a popular man in financial and business circles in this community. The deceased was just in the prime of life and also in his business career, which makes his passing a blow to both his family and his associates. He had been in failing health for some time, suffering from a tubercular trouble of the throat.

Besides his devoted wife he leaves three children, one daughter, Miss Mary and two sons, Fulton and Merle who were all at home.

The funeral was held on Tuesday morning at the M. E. church under the auspices of the K. of P. and Masonic orders, of which he was a valued member. Burial in the Locust Grove cemetery.

GOOD WOMAN GOES TO HER REWARD

Mrs. A. P. Campbell Was Victim of Asthma and Heart Trouble

Peebles, Ohio.--A genuine feeling of regret was felt in Peebles and vicinity when it became known that Mrs. Ina Campbell, widow of the late P. A. Campbell has passed away at her home about one o'clock Saturday morning.

Mrs. Campbell had been in poor health for more than a year with asthma and dropsy of the heart and while her condition was known to be serious, it was a shock to her family and friends when she died.

She was 48 years of age and before her marriage was Miss Ina McMillen, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Will McMillen. She was a splendid christian woman, devoted to her family and loved and respected by her neighbors.

She is survived by two children, Mrs. Ralph Wickerham and Fulton Campbell, both of Peebles. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Lexie Stewart, of Norwalk, Ohio.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. church on Monday afternoon by Rev. Cummins and burial in the LOcust Grove cemetery under the direction of Thomas and Trefz, Undertakers. The Order of Eastern Stars of which she was as valued member, had a part in the funeral services also.
