Mrs. Sophia McClanahan, wife of James McClanahan, died at her son, James' home, she was 85 years old. Born January 12, 1815. Had seven children: Adeline lives on home place, S.A. and Core who married L.P. Brookover, Helen who married Rev. H. J. Zercher of Salem, Oregon, and J. A.
