ObituaryHarry L. Junkin, 72, 3576 Arlington Ave., died at 6:50 p.m. Sunday in Fort Hamilton Hughes Hospital. He was born in Hamilton, son of Albert and Katherine C. Decker Junkin, and attended Hamilton Schools. He married Betty I. Reeb in 1937 in Hamilton. Mr. Junkin was a co-owner of the East Avenue Market for 40 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the Lindenwald United Methodist Church, life member of the BPO Elks Lodge 93, member and past president of the Elks bowling league, was vice president of Grocers and Dealers Association, member of Masonic Lodge 17, F & AM, and the Masonic Temple Club. Surviving are his wife, Betty Junkin, twin daughters, Mrs. Joyce Cockerill and Mrs. Gail (Janice) Hinderlong, both of Fairfield; four grandchildren. Services 10:00 a.m. Wednesday Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Masonic Services 7 p.m. Memorials may be sent to Lindenwald United Methodist Church memorial fund.
