D2 Robert H. Junkin, was born on 26 March 1823 in Mifflin County Pennsylvania. He died on 9 January 1901. He was the son of Andrew Junkin and Margaret Willis. He served in the military in the Civil War in Company K, 131st Pennysylvania Volunteers. He was a clerk in a store and later a bookkeeper. He was married to Ellen Kennedy. Ellen was born about 1827 and was the daughter of John Kenney and Theodoshia Wilson who were natives of Ireland.
