F1 Loloy Zercher, born ca. 1903; died at 21 yrs old of pneumonia before 1929.

Tito (Uncle) Loloy, the eldest brother died at 21 yrs old of pneumonia . He had tuberculosis. It started when he left home at 18 to be an apprentice in a ship. His fellow workers played a trick on him and locked him up in a freezer, and when he was found he was almost dead. His resistance never came back and he stayed in the hospital most of the time. I was told that when he was young GrandaPa Roscoe hired German doctors to operate on him (something to do with his vocal chords). The operation went well, but after one week he ate rice - which was not part of his recovery diet - and it opened up his wounds and he did not allow them to sew it back closed. Loloy had a disability that he could not talk clearly. The best way it was described to me (Ngo-Ngo) is the word in Tagalog was, when he talked he sounded like he was holding or pinching his nose closed.

Loloy supposedly died before Roscoe past away, who died while celebrating his bachelors party (tossing) wine or champagne with friends. It was 2 days prior to getting married for the 2nd time.
