F2 Alice Mary Zercher, born August 16, 1905 in the Philippines, died January 29, 1981 in Dallas, Texas; married 1928 William Burnice Landress, born November 18, 1904, died January 12, 1989. William was the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Landress of Dallas, Texas. Two children.

Girl From Manila And Dallas Man Wed

Announcement has been received of the marriage of Burnice Landress, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Landress, 6123 Grandview avenue, and Miss Alice Zercher, daughter of R. K. Zercher of Manila, Philippine Islands, and niece of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Donnell, 823 Grandview avenue, Thursday evening at the residence of the bride's aunt and uncle. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. C. A. Chasteen, paster of the Mount Auburn Christian Church.

The bride wore a white crepe romaine dress trimmed in white silk lace, worn with silver slippers. Her flowers were a corsage bouquet of white rosebuds and lilies of the valley.

The bride was formerly of Manila, Philippine Islands, having been born and reared there, coming to Dallas four years ago [in July of 1924] to complete her education. While here she resided with her aunt and uncle. Following a trip to San Antonio, Austin, San Marcos and other points they will be at home in Dallas after July 15.
