H10 Jacob Horine, Sr., was born May 19, 1805 in Middletown Valley, Maryland, and died February 28, 1870 in Castine, Darke County, Ohio. He married Elizabeth Dutrow April 15, 1829, daughter of George Dutrow. Eight children.

Elizabeth Dutro (portrait on left) was born February 2, 1807 in Maryland, and died September 8, 1886 in Ohio. Elizabeth's photograph can be viewed in a group portrait taken at an 1883 Dutro-Horine Family Reunion.
Jacob and Elizabeth are both buried in Otterbein Cemetery, Butler Township, Darke County, Ohio.

I5 Enos Horine, born 8 October, 1837, died 5 April, 1839.
I6 Jacob Horine, Jr., born 4 February, 1840, died 14 January, 1926. Married Elizabeth Sayring, born 20 October, 1839, died 16 June, 1927.
