Rachel was the daughter of David Bigler and Nancy Grabill. David and Rachel are buried in West Union Cemetery, Union Township, Elkhart County, Indiana.

David C. Miller was a Veteran of the Civil War. He was a private in the 29th Regiment Indiana Infantry, Company K (M540 roll 51). (Roll of Honor)

G3 Mary Miller, born September 13, 1843; married September 7, 1862 Daniel Wysong, born September 28, 1842, died January 13, 1924; Daniel was a Brethren Minister, and was the son of Robert Wysong and Anna Miller.

G4 Hannah Miller, born June 21, 1845 in Darke County, Ohio, died October 18, 1902 in Union Township, Elkhart County, Indiana; married June 14, 1868 Adam B. Miller, born February 3, 1830 in Montgomery County, Ohio, died August 11, 1920; Adam was the son of David Y. Miller and Eva Bainter.

G7 Lavina Miller, born November 5, 1857 in Elkhart County, Indiana, died April 24, 1936 near Nappanee, Indiana; married September 4, 1875 Henry Wysong, born February 2, 1853, died November 19, 1936. Henry was the son of Robert Wysong and Anna Miller
