This family lived in Sycamore Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, N.E. of cincinnati. In 1833, they purchased land in Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio, N.W. of Dayton, Ohio. Deeds 1854-71 show sale of their land. They were members of the Harris Creek German Baptist Church. They are buried in Old Harris Creek Cemetery, in Adams Township. The church was built across State Route 721 in Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio. The old Harris Creek Cemetery was supplimented in 1887 by the Harris Creek Cemetery, located a short distance south of the church.
